The Third Congressional District will receive over $26 million in federal funding for local economic development projects, education programs, and healthcare initiatives!
These federal funds will provide vital investment in groundbreaking medical and scientific research, early childhood education, and the economy to build back better today and lay the groundwork for an even brighter tomorrow. Representative Joyce Beatty is fighting every day to make sure that people in Ohio’s Third Congressional District, no matter where they live, can obtain the education and healthcare they need and deserve.
Programs that will be funded include:
- $12,985,905 for the Child Development Council of Franklin County to fund Head Start and Early Head Start programs.
- $3,219,212 for the Columbus Neighborhood Health Center, Inc. to continue to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to individuals in the surrounding community.
- $1,009,334 for Heart of Ohio Family Health Centers to continue to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to individuals in the surrounding community.
- $400,000 for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission to assist the region with recovery efforts from the pandemic and help build resiliency from future economic disruptions.
