21 high-ranking retired military officers released a letter of support for US Senate candidate General Mick McGuire (Ret). Below you will find the text of their letter and list of signors. "On February 24, 2022, Vladimir Putin launched an unprovoked large-scale Russian military invasion into Ukraine, attacking military and civilian targets, using weapons that are in violation of the Geneva Convention, and killing thousands of innocent civilians, resulting in Putin being labeled by most of the world community a pariah and a wartime criminal. Putin was emboldened by the election in the United States of a weak President, who, on his first day in office, reversed our energy independence policy, opened up our southern border, and later ordered the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, compromising our national security and projecting to the entire world weakness instead of strength.

If you have been hesitant to engage in the 2022 election of Arizona's next United States Senator, the luxury of time is over.

There is one clear choice to face Mark Kelly in November, one clear choice to take back control of the United States Senate: Major General, USAF (Ret) Mick McGuire. We've worked with Mick. We know him to be a strict constitutionalist - not just in words - but in his action. We know him as a big thinker and a proven and trusted leader. From his service as a fighter at to commanding more than 8,300 troops in the largest mobilization of the Arizona National Guard since 1942, Mick has answered the call. Proof is in the response of his formations; they answered the call to deploy for the crisis at the border, organized and sustained the largest drive through vaccination site in the country, insured Arizonans most at risk had access to food, water and medical supplies during the Covid-19 crisis, fought Arizona's fourth largest wildfire in history, and stood shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement during the June 2020 civil unrest. Now, we as Americans, find ourselves in a perilous situation, one we haven't seen as a nation since WWII.

More than ever, we need leaders in our federal government that not only have a realistic knowledge and understanding of the critical issues we are facing, but the courage, wisdom and leadership skills to form indivisible bonds within our own country and with our NATO allies that can challenge and defeat the evil threat(s) the free world is facing. No one prays for peace more than a warrior.

As a wartime Adjutant General, Major General, USAF (Ret) McGuire understands and is prepared to deal with the major issues facing Arizona today and the momentous challenges we face as the leader of the free world, the United States of America. He is the trusted, strong and confident leader that has the moral courage to do what is best for Arizona and America."
