For days on end, I showed up to the Arkansas Capitol and spoke out in support of legislation like HB1563 to improve housing conditions for families in Arkansas. Even then, I didn't believe HB1563 went far enough to provide Arkansans with the adequate healthy living conditions owed to them.
My advocacy didn't stop there ― I spoke out against Cash Bail Bonds ― policies that disenfranchise Arkansans and make profits off the backs of poor people & working class poor.
I've never sat in the background. I've always been a vocal advocate for the Little People like myself, and I will do the same in Washington.
