Piestewa Fallen Heroes Sunrise Memorial gives us an opportunity to remember & honor the sacrifice of PFC Lori Ann Piestewa & so many others, & join their families in remembrance. They are the best of us. Honored to have been invited by the Piestewa family to attend.
During the Piestewa Fallen Heroes Sunrise Memorial ceremony I was honored to introduce two of my hoop dance students (including my daughter) & my good friend Eva Bighorse, to share with everyone a hoop dance offered as a symbol of honoring and healing for Gold Star Families in attendance and for our fallen heroes.
