When the poorly named Women's Health Protection Act came up for a vote in the House, I voted against it. All life is precious and it is our obligation to defend the most vulnerable.

I am grateful to see that the Senate rejected this bill—a last-ditch attempt to make the grisly practice of late-term abortion the law of the land as Americans await a Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade.
