I got to spend some time talking to the hard working people at K&H Meats in Stuart today. I learned about their operations and the struggles they have faced to keep going.
The "big 4" meat processors have a death grip on our cattle industry and it's time we elect leadership that will help local ranchers and businesses break free from the stranglehold.
It's time we invest in Nebraska and elect a leader that cares about the "little guy".
I greatly value the hard work and tenacity of Nebraskans. With the right leadership, we can raise our home state to a new height.
