Although my love and prayers do go out to the family of Brad Ashford and his lovely wife, Ann Ferlic Ashford today. As we grieve his death, I think it’s also important to celebrate his life and the impact he had on Nebraska. From his support of Nebraska Veterans by building the Omaha Medical Facility while a Congressman to his work on trying to resolve the prison overcrowding issues in Nebraska as a State Senator. Brad Ashford worked hard for Nebraskans and left his mark. Today, I celebrate his legacy of good stewardship.
