This isn't a fashion show. Most days I prefer my boots to any other shoe, even with skinny jeans. I refuse to wear an ugly sleeveless "newsagent" polyester dress in flat colors. I love my boots, my turquoise and my life. I'm not pretending to be governor material. I'm the Governor New Mexico needs. I am New Mexico.
