Congratulations to the Hawaii Workers Center and the member organizations of the "Coalition to Defend and Respect Hawaii's Workers" on this important victory as in-person services are now available for those still dealing with the unemployment office. For over a year, frustrated residents had to deal with an antiquated system that was ill-prepared to help residents struggling with the pandemic.
It's time we finally start putting the needs of our residents and people first.
