A Voice for the People!

Hawaii

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

I want to thank you all for supporting me for the Hawai‘i Lt. Governor race. However, I have been asked by my community leaders to consider running for Congress instead. After much thought, prayer, and discussions, I believe Congress is where I need to be and where I can have a greater impact.

I originally looked at the Lt. Governor race because I felt my non-profit leadership experience advocating for our working families was a voice missing from the political table. As I spoke to more and more people on the issues that mattered to them, I realized that most of the issues were dealt at the federal level.

I am running for Congress for all the communities and people who believe they don't belong in its halls. I am running for Congress for all the "little" guys where the odds are stacked against them.

The country needs to hear from the people of Hawai‘i. I hear you and the rest of the country will too.
