Republican candidate for Congress Mike Flood announced a fundraising total of more than $400,000 in contributions raised in the two weeks since he announced his campaign for Congress on January 16. Nearly 100 percent of the contributions are from Nebraskans, and none are from foreign nationals.

Flood is challenging 18-year incumbent Jeff Fortenberry, who is facing federal prosecution on felony criminal charges.

"I'm overwhelmed by the support I have received to represent Nebraska’s 1st District," said Flood. "Nebraskans understand the importance of sending a Republican to Washington to end Democrats' one-party rule and fire Nancy Pelosi, and they aren’t willing to gamble on the outcome of Fortenberry’s criminal trial. Hardworking Nebraskans continue to suffer under Joe Biden’s awful policies, and we have to retake the House to take back America."

Flood has earned the endorsements of Governor Pete Ricketts and former Governor Dave Heineman.

The Mike Flood for Congress campaign's first FEC quarterly reporting cutoff is March 31, 2022, and its first quarterly filing deadline is April 15, 2022.
