ATLANTA — Today, Fair Fight PAC announced its first endorsement of the regular 2022 election cycle for voting rights champion Bentley Hudgins in Georgia House District 90 – the seat once held by Fair Fight founder Stacey Abrams and currently held by Representative Bee Nguyen.
“Fair Fight is proud to endorse Bentley Hudgins to represent all Georgians in House District 90. Bentley’s track record of putting service before self and working to provide Georgians from all walks of life a seat at the table is unparalleled,” said Fair Fight Political Director André D. Fields. “Bentley is the clear choice in this election for any Georgian concerned about protecting voting rights. As state representative, they will build upon the legacy of their pro-democracy predecessors by holding anti-voting Republicans accountable under the Gold Dome while fighting for quality affordable health care, investment in public education, and empowerment for Georgia’s workers.”
A longtime Georgia organizer and union member, Hudgins has worked in coalition with grassroots organizations and voting rights advocates to help defend our democracy and hold bad faith actors in positions of power accountable. If elected, they would be the first openly non-binary representative to serve in the Georgia legislature. They have made protecting the freedom to vote a focus of their campaign, continuing their track record as the voting rights candidate in this race.
