This is why I will be joining the Oklahoma Libertarian Party on June 12th to protest against victimless crimes. It costs Oklahomans $37,118 on average to have a drug offender housed during their sentence. It costs less than half that to put someone through a good rehab program and get them mental health assistance. Let's stop throwing people away for victimless crimes and instead work together as a community to get them help.
