We have ended our day in Bristol County on our #berkshire2boston tour.
Today, we visited for breakfast at Al Mac's Diner and talked with owner Cliff Ponte, a former Fall River, Massachusetts city councilor.
We then stopped at New Bedford, Massachusetts waterfront, and discussed the fishing industry with experts John Haran and Mark DeCristoforo.
Next up a visit to City of Fall River Fire Department and discussion with the heroes there about their job and the issue of toxins in their gear making them ill.
We visited the Stepping Stone Homeless Shelter, NFP followed by Veterans Association of Bristol County about all the great work they do there.
Next we visited a beautiful nature trail in Fall River.
