U.S. Senator Tom Cotton Announces Endorsement of Rod Dorilás for Congress

The Dorilás campaign announced today that it has received the endorsement of Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR). Rod Dorilás is a first-generation American son of Haitian immigrants. Rod joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17 and served three tours overseas. Upon his return home, Dorilas graduated from Syracuse University College of Law and went on to serve in the Trump administration as counsel to Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross. Rod is now running for congress as a Republican in Florida’s 21st congressional district.

Senator Cotton said, “I am excited to endorse Rod Dorilás for Congress. Rod is exactly the kind of representative that the American people need. As a veteran, first-generation American, small business owner, and former counsel in the Department of Commerce, Rod brings the experience and energy to make real change in Washington D.C. Rod is a fighter and the Republican candidate who can win in November. Rod has my full backing and I’m asking you to join me in supporting him.”

Senator Tom Cotton has been the Senator for the state of Arkansas since 2015. Previously, he served in the House of Representatives from 2013-2015. Prior to his political career, Senator Cotton served in our armed forces as a Ranger in the U.S. Army. Senator Cotton served two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, receiving the Bronze Star and the Combat Infantryman Badge.
