We are aware that the Scottsbluff County GOP is hosting a candidate gala this evening.

Unfortunately, the $1,000 entry fee for a governor candidate is not within our financial means as a grassroot supported candidate.

Up until now, I have attended every forum that I have been invited to. I am disappointed that I won't be able to connect with more western  Nebraskans this evening.

However, I look forward to my upcoming trip to Chadron for a future forum and I sincerely hope I'll have a chance to meet you there.

I hope tonight's gala is a great success.
