Across Massachusetts, there are millions who are disaffected and who have lost faith in our state and federal elected officials.
Their fears are ignored, their priorities dismissed, their values ridiculed, giving way to cynical and pessimistic views of our government.
My campaign begins with a recognition that our voices must be heard, We will bring the disenfranchised off the sidelines and ensure that voices are not just heard, but respected, allowing the American Dream to become their dream again.
For the American dream to be restored for our children and future generations, we must shut out the identity politics, the hate, the blaming of others rather than personal responsibility. The freedom to succeed -- or fail -- is what makes America unique. When we succeed, we celebrate. When we fail, we have the freedom to stand up and try again.
As Americans, we believe in helping those who truly need help. But we also believe government should not stand in the way of success.
Throughout history, our nation has faltered, but her citizens have always stood for our values and overcoming the mistakes of the past.
Today, we must not become disenfranchised. There is much work to do and it's our time to bring American pride back to our children, bright-eyed at the promise of freedom, liberty, and opportunity for all. For immigrants and new citizens, we must be the Shining City.
I’m running to help ALL Americans stand up and exercise free speech, return civics to our schools, hold accountable those politicians and officials who tear the fabric of the American dream, protect our seniors and veterans while cutting the nation's credit card before there is no American dream to fight for.
