The United States tacitly recognizes the tenure of RoC President 蔡英文 Tsai Ing-wen, considered by the People's Republic as sham illegitimate authority and an act of war. Why should the United States force the Nation, a sovereign on equal footing with the People's Republic, to free slaves?
The Nation has every right, jurisdiction, and authority to allow slavery within its borders, and calling for United Nations military forces to enforce its sovereignty.
Slavery, within the context of tribal sovereignty, is under-rated.
