The Unicameral along with the Governor develop and approve a budget for the State. The Dept. of Education and their board needs to remember this as they are toying with the safety of our children and grandchildren.
Although as Governor I can not create executive orders in Nebraska, I can and will stand firm against issues that will create harmful situations to people. Regardless of color, race, gender or party. Safety is paramount. Stop the madness of the proposed health standards.
I have LGBTQ family and friends. I will protect and defend them against hate and hold any person who brutalized them to a more severe punishment..but kids need to be kids without political influence.
NDE needs to consider how this will influence their future budget. I will hold the line! STAND WITH ME FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PEOPLE!
