As we commemorate the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, I think of my grandpa, a WW2 guerrilla fighter in the Philippines and my wife, originally from Japan. Despite the pain of war, he welcomed my wife, knowing that many who fought & died on both sides had little choice.
