Gladys Vega of La Colaborativa said it best: “We are celebrating a day of dignity for immigrant workers,” she said, speaking in both English and Spanish to the employees and community members, and the cameras in front of her. “A day of dignity for the workers, for the people that are constantly being neglected. Finally, they will have a chance.”
