Governor Mike DeWine is hosting a meeting with the British Ambassador to the United States, Dame Karen Pierce. The United Kingdom is Ohio’s largest European investor, with 14 percent of the state's international investments. Nearly 600 British-owned companies have a presence in Ohio and its companies directly employ more than 37,000 Ohio residents. The United Kingdom is also Ohio's largest European export market, accounting for approximately $1.5 billion in sales.
