I stand with Congressman Fortenberry on this.
I am 100% against abortion at any time during the pregnancy, but it is irresponsible and inconsiderate to close a door and not open another. Eliminate abortion, but provide aid to struggling mothers whether through social services, adoption agencies, or foster care.
It won't be easy, but we have options and we need to use them.
Every child is precious and deserves love, care, and a helping hand.
