Having grown up in rural areas, I understand that these locations may have few people, but a lot of potential. I support technological growth in rural areas as it will make them more attractive for businesses, Nebraskans, and those looking to move to Nebraska.
COVID-19 has been instrumental in progressing businesses toward remote work which studies show is a win-win for employees, employers, and our environment. Better internet access will allow for growth in rural areas for the people, businesses, and the state.
As governor, I will continue with ideas and projects to help grow Nebraska and make us more competitive in this technological age.
