President Trump’s U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland Ed McMullen today endorsed Jake Evans for Congress. McMullen acted as chair of Trump’s successful 2016 Republican primary campaign in South Carolina, helped plan the Republican National Convention that year and served as vice chair of his inaugural committee while also on the White House transition team.
“As U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, I worked closely with members of Congress on issues foreign and domestic. Jake will deliver results for the people and put Americans first,” McMullen said. “He’s an America First warrior, and that’s needed now as we see the consequences of America projecting weakness to the world.”
“I’m honored to have the support of Ambassador McMullen,” Jake said. “He served our nation with distinction and represented the president’s priorities well in Switzerland. I appreciate the continued work he’s doing to further President Trump’s political agenda throughout the country.”
