Alpharetta Mayor Pro Tem Dan Merkel and fellow council members Douglas DeRito and Donald Mitchell today announced their support for Jake Evans in the 6th Congressional District race.

“Jake knows what makes the communities in the 6th Congressional District special and great places to live,” Merkel said. “He’ll fight to make sure Washington bureaucrats don’t federalize local zoning decisions in cities like Alpharetta, he’ll support our efforts to keep our streets safe by backing the blue and he’ll ensure we get our fair share of the transportation dollars that we need in this growing region. Jake will be a great representative for Alpharetta and all of the 6th District.”
