Bridget Barton for Governor: Reason That Our Forests Are Burning

Oregon

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Radicals like this are the reason that our forests are burning. Last year more than 30 million metric tons of CO2 spewed into the atmosphere from Oregon forest fires. That’s more than all the emissions from vehicles in Oregon. It’s simple. Our federal and state forests must be managed or they will burn, with catastrophic losses for health and rural Oregon families and business owners.

As governor, I will remove these radicals from our forests and stop the assault on rural and blue collar communities.
