March is Women’s History Month. Each week I’m highlighting Kansans who  are making a difference and excelling in their field. Today we highlight  Susan Wagle, the first female president of the Kansas Senate and the  first to hail from Wichita. Susan is a Wichita State alum, former  educator at Wichita Public Schools, small business owner and cancer  survivor. She and her husband Tom are also the proud grandparents to 16  grandchildren. Susan finished her final Kansas Senate term in 2020,  advocating for Kansas values and working tirelessly to make our state a  better place for families and businesses.
