March is Women’s History Month. Each week I’m highlighting Kansans who  are making a difference and excelling in their field. Today we highlight  the 14 women who made up the first all-female flight on the KC-46.  Taking off from Wichita’s McConnell Air Force Base, this female crew set  out for the US Air Force Academy on a mission to inspire future female  pilots. Women are essential to our armed forces as pilots, flight techs  and other roles, and I’m grateful for their service and dedication to  our nation. You can read more about their flight at https://www.mcconnell.af.mil/…/breaking-barriers-first-kc-…/.
