Rabbi Richard Hirsch’s death has touched the world. The beloved father of @oaklandu president Ora Hirsch Pescovitz, who along with her family, I have been holding in my heart. May many continue to learn about his role in passing the Civil and Voting Rights Acts of the 1960s.
