Oil prices continue to skyrocket, and Alaska once again has the rug pulled out from under us. Decisions by the federal government to cancel oil and gas leases cost good paying jobs for Alaskans and ship the economic potential to foreign adversaries like Russia. These blows to our economy need to end. It is imperative to our state and to our nation that Alaska be allowed to responsibly develop our resources.
