Ohio

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

We continued our travels around Ohio today to visit communities receiving #OhioBUILDS funding for water infrastructure projects. In the Jefferson County community of Mingo Junction, #OhioBUILDS funding will help solve a public safety issue. A $60,000 grant will be used to help install a better water line and new hydrants to ensure firefighters have the water they need when there is an emergency. In Lancaster, they were ready to break ground today on a project funded with a $950,000 grant that will draw more economic development to the area. And, in Washington County, a $10 million #OhioBUILDS grant will help pay for sewer improvements needed in the community of Devola.
