Lou Barletta for Governor: Biden Brands Millions of Americans as Domestic Terrorists

Pennsylvania

Just as the Biden administration labeled parents speaking at school board meetings “domestic terrorists,” Biden’s Department of Homeland Security has issued a “Terrorism Advisory Bulletin” warning that people who oppose vaccine and mask mandates, who have questions about the integrity of the 2020 election, or who are concerned about Afghan nationals being relocated to America are also potential “domestic violent extremists.”

Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, issued the following statement:

“Joe Biden has just labeled tens of millions of Americans, and maybe every single Pennsylvanian, as ‘domestic violent extremists.’ This is how it goes with leftists. They enact policies that people disagree with, and when the people speak up, they are branded extremists and potential terrorists.

“Don’t like what your local school board is doing? Shut up, you’re a terrorist.

“Do you oppose vaccine and mask mandates? Shut up, you’re a terrorist.

“Are you unsure about the integrity of the 2020 election? Shut up, you’re a terrorist.

“Are you concerned that Afghan refugees haven’t been properly screened before they enter your community? Shut up, you’re a terrorist.

“It’s not America if you can’t express your opposition to government policies. But this is the administration Gov. Tom Wolf and Attorney General Josh Shapiro align themselves with. They stifle dissent and want to criminalize political discourse. It’s disgusting and Pennsylvanians won’t stand for it.

“Weaponizing the federal government to attack those with different political beliefs is fundamentally un-American. Josh Shapiro needs to quit playing partisan politics and stand up to his own party when it egregiously oversteps its bounds like it is today. This is wrong and should not be accepted as the new normal.

“When I’m governor of Pennsylvania, we will restore the freedoms our residents are born with. People want to return to normal life, and telling everyone to shut up or be called a terrorist is not the way to get there.”
