Bucks County rank and file conservatives rallying behind Barletta's campaign.

Hazleton, PA - Former mayor and congressman Lou Barletta, the leading Republican candidate for governor of Pennsylvania, announced the formal endorsement of Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo (Bucks County).

“Lou Barletta has the right credentials and experience to lead our Commonwealth and I'm proud to endorse him to be our next governor,” said Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo. “Harrisburg is in dire need of a strong conservative leader who isn't afraid to stand up and fight for what's right. Lou has proven time and time again that he is willing to take on the tough fights important to all Pennsylvanians. I am encouraging the more than 60,000 residents of Bensalem Township to join me and support Lou Barletta for Governor."

“I am honored to have the support of Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo," said Barletta. "As a former mayor myself, I like to say I'm not running to be governor of Pennsylvania - I'm running to be the mayor of Pennsylvania because mayors actually have to get things done for their community.

Conservatives across Pennsylvania are uniting behind my campaign because they know how big of a disaster Josh Shapiro would be as governor. Rather than going after the criminals overrunning our communities in southeast Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro would rather sue the Little Sisters of the Poor. When I'm governor, we're going to return to a sense of normalcy. We will rebuild our economy, unleash our energy industry, prevent biological males from competing in women's sports, and stand up for the rule of law. Simply put, we will give people their freedoms back and restore common sense to the Commonwealth."
