West Virginia

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) today announced a grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) worth $1,750,000 to the Raleigh County Memorial Airport. These funds will be used to expand the West Side section of the Airport Industrial Park by 105 acres, allowing for the creation of 16 new sites attached to the runway that will help attract future aerospace investment. This new development will create 624 jobs and bring in $48 million in private investment.

"Building up the infrastructure of the Raleigh County Memorial Airport and the Airport Industrial Park is crucial to revitalizing our economy," said Congresswoman Miller. "This grant will help attract more aerospace investment and keep hardworking West Virginians employed.
