Huntington, IN - Gary Snyder, Democratic candidate for Indiana's Third Congressional District, released the following statement regarding Jim Banks introducing a bill to end the Biden Administration's freeze on student loan payments.

"Jim Banks receives over $175,000 in taxpayer money each year, lives in a million dollar Virginia home and now wants to end the freeze on student loan payments for working families at a time when they are struggling with rising inflation and high gas prices," said Snyder. "The news of Jim putting his callous political ambitions over the financial well being of working families is appalling. Jim Banks' solution to inflation and high gas prices seems to be to leave you with the least amount of money possible," Snyder added.
