Ron Wyden: Billionaires in space? Here’s what they should do next.

As neat as it is watching billionaires blast themselves and their buddies off into space, I have a radical idea about something else they can do next...

How about mega-billionaires, along with massive corporations, start paying their fair share in taxes to make lives better for everyone.

And how about we use that money to rebuild America. From clean energy to housing, affordable health care and child care, roads and bridges, and everything in-between.

Donate today. Elect a Senate in 2022 that will hold the ultra-wealthy accountable by making them pay their fair share.

It's really not that complicated: if billionaires and the biggest corporations paid their fair share, we could make our country a better place to live, work, and raise a family for everyone, not just the fortunate few.

America's billionaires built their fortunes on the back of an American workforce and call this country their home, but too many get away with not paying their fair share, and sometimes nothing at all, while nurses and firefighters pay taxes out of each paycheck. It's time to end our nation's system of two tax codes — one that's mandatory for workers and another that's optional for the mega-rich.

Elections matter and 2022 has to be about securing a tax fairness mandate, an infrastructure mandate, and so much more — so there's no doubt in what the American people sent us to Congress to get done.

Donate today, because this will be an uphill battle, but we need to be ready to expand our progressive Senate majority in 2022.
