A Note from Tudor:

On Mother's Day, we celebrate our mothers, grandmothers, and those women in our families who have gone before us. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who are celebrating motherhood today.

As we honor all of the moms out there, the Supreme Court leak this week makes this day all the more poignant. Being a mother is one of the most important jobs in society. It is the most challenging and rewarding in my life. I love being mommy to my four amazing daughters. They are each unique blessings from God.

The gift of motherhood should be shared and celebrated, but too often women are told motherhood will hold them back in life. I hope together we can expose the lies surrounding motherhood and build a Michigan focused on the gift of family. Motherhood is hard and some days (let’s be honest) totally exhausting, but none of us would give up a single minute of our time as mom. We must stop telling women they can’t have it all if they choose life.

I have been asked to put a time limit on life. I have been asked when I think life is worth fighting for in the womb, 6 weeks, 15 weeks, after a heartbeat? What I know is God gave me a glimpse of life in the womb. We lost our beautiful little girl, Faith, at 18 weeks along in my second pregnancy. I gave birth to a beautiful daughter who was already in paradise when I held her tiny body in my arms. At 18 weeks, she was a beautifully formed baby, with gorgeous little lips and tiny fingers and toes. She had been living inside me, a baby, not a clump of cells. I know this because I was granted a moment to love on her and say goodbye. I am pro-life. I am pro-mom. I am pro-family.

Let’s work together to lift up life and family. As Governor, I will encourage companies to offer paid family leave, I will make adoption affordable, and I will reduce regulations in this

state that prevent families from achieving the American Dream.

I believe we should return to a society where we respect and embrace life, where women are empowered to be mothers and do whatever else they want to do to live a fulfilled life.

Let us take this day to honor our mothers and all the future moms who will achieve greats things in this world with their little ones looking up to them along the way. Happy Mother’s Day!

Talk Radio, TV, Newspapers

Tudor appeared on several talk radio this week, including Michael Patrick Shiels, Steve Gruber, Guy Gordon, and Casey Hendrickson. She also interviewed with Tyron Bynum on WXSP's

The Detroit News covered Tudor's past local movie acting hobby, which was smeared by Democrats, the Lincoln Project, and others seeking to defeat her candidacy.

Kalamazoo Meet-and-Greet

Thank you to Drew Born for helping to organize a meet-and-greet at VanDam & Krusinga Building and Restoration in Kalamazoo. It was good to talk with contractors about what they faced during Gretchen Whitmer's lockdowns and ways to make it easier to do business in Michigan!

ABC Events

Tudor joined the Associated Builders and Contractors at events in Grand Rapids and Madison Heights. She joined leaders in cutting the ribbon and the new Southeast Michigan Construction Academy. Congratulations to Jimmy Greene, Keith Ledbetter, and the other ABC leaders defending merit shops and free markets!

Up North Tour

The Emmet County GOP organized a meet-greet with Tudor. Thank you Geri Szymanski!

That was followed by a fun Otsego County Derby Day Brunch and the Cheboygan County Lincoln Day Dinner in the evening. We will continue spreading our optimistic vision to every part of the state!
