This week, President Joe Biden released his proposed budget for FY2023. For the second year in a row, his Far-Left spending agenda leaves out the Hyde Amendment. The Hyde Amendment is a longtime bipartisan policy that bars the use of federal funds to pay for abortion. The Hyde Amendment has saved the lives of more than 2.4 million unborn children in the United States.

“As radical as President Biden’s $5.8 trillion budget proposal is, it comes as no surprise that it would allow for the taxpayer funding of abortion. The Hyde Amendment saves lives and is supported by a majority of Americans. President Biden is more interested in funding abortion than defending the lives of unborn children. No taxpayer dollars should ever go towards funding abortion,” said Congressman Mooney.  “I will never stop fighting for the rights of the unborn. I will continue to fight for the repeal of Roe v. Wade and establish in federal law that life begins at conception.”
