Governor Richard Michael DeWine: Reappoints Conway to PUCO

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)—Ohio Governor Mike DeWine reappointed Daniel R. Conway to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO). Conway was first appointed to the PUCO in 2017 by former Governor John Kasich. Conway's current term expires April 10, 2022, and his new five-year term starts April 11th. 

“Commissioner Conway has a track record of being judicious and weighing issues from all sides. I appreciate Commissioner Conway’s continued service on the PUCO,” said Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.

Prior to his service on the PUCO, Conway was an attorney at the firm of Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur LLP, where he advocated on behalf of both consumers and public utilities in electric, natural gas, and telecommunications matters. Conway is an alumnus of Miami University and the University of Michigan Law School.

This appointment is subject to confirmation by the Ohio Senate.
