The Congressman joined Rachel Maddow on MSNBC to discuss the announcement that President Joe Biden intends to nominate two new members of the U.S. Postal Service board, removing key allies of Trump postmaster general Louis DeJoy, an action that the Congressman has been vocal about in recent months. Congressman Krishnamoorthi commented, “My pleas came from my constituents. We’ve received more complaints, thousands of complaints, about mail delivery and raised prices than perhaps any other issue.”
Congressman Krishnamoorthi has been a leading voice in the effort to change USPS leadership, calling on President Biden to replace the USPS Board of Governors Chairman Ron Bloom and Postmaster General DeJoy recently.
