Kent Campaign Manager Byron Sanford released the following statement:

Our grassroots campaign has reached yet another milestone in Washington’s Third Congressional District. With more than 400 local volunteers signed up and vetted, it is clear that the Kent campaign is the only serious congressional campaign in the district. Not only do we have 400 volunteers, but we also surpassed 100 public events.                                         Our opponent, America Last RINO Jaime Herrera Beutler, has gone into hiding for over four years. She hasn’t held any in-person public events and hides behind the occasional tightly screened telephone town hall where her staff prevents her from facing any challenging questions.

Anyone who has seen Joe at one of his public events knows he’s not afraid to take any and all questions from the public and often does so for hours at a time.

No other Republican campaign for Congress in the country can boast so many local volunteers and in-person events by a candidate at this stage in the race. As the campaign continues to ramp up over the coming months, we will expand our volunteer base, inform more voters that Joe Kent is the only alternative to the America Last incumbent, and solidify the fact that Kent is the frontrunner.
