Kent to WA DEMS: Get Out of the Way of Audit Lawsuit

Washington

ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS STORY

Today, Joe Kent released the following statement in response to Washington State Democrats’ and Perkins Coie’s attempt to intervene in the Washington Election Integrity Coalition United lawsuit demanding a full, forensic audit of the 2020 General Election.

The current WEiCU lawsuit, to which I am a co-plaintiff, is a non-partisan attempt to force the county election offices to do their job and assure the public of the validity and integrity of our election systems.

By interjecting themselves as defendants, the state’s Democrat Party has positioned themselves as the opponents of clean and fair elections.

Partisanship has no business in this necessary effort to investigate the counties’ conduct in the last election and restore the public’s faith in our democracy. I’m calling on the Democrats to call off their Perkins Coie attack dogs and join us in our demand for a full forensic audit of Washington State elections.

Joe Kent is available for interviews. If interested, please email Byron Sanford at byron@joekentforcongress.com or contact him via cell at 360.210.6943.
