Today I am endorsing Andrea Salinas for Congress. She is a tough, smart, progressive Democrat who has earned my support and deserves yours, too.
Andrea is making history. If elected, she would be the first Latina from Oregon to serve in Congress. That's a big deal. We need more voices like hers in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I have known Andrea for years. Her record as an advocate for the environment and as a State Representative shows that she listens carefully and works hard to solve problems. Thanks to Andrea, Oregon has the most comprehensive reproductive freedom laws in the country.
She has also led the way on climate policy by helping to decarbonize Oregon and protect clean air, land, and water for generations to come. Andrea is building a grassroots movement in the Sixth District. But the field is crowded and she has a tough race ahead of her. The primary election is May 17th and Andrea needs to win so she can move on to the general election in November.
