Suzanne Bonamici: More attacks on voting rights. Enough is enough.

Recently Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla) revealed the Republican's legislative plan, and it's horrendous.

It takes aim at children, working families, women, the LGBTQ+ community, and people of color.

Republicans think they are going to win in November, and they are counting on taking the majority in both the House and the Senate. We can't let that happen. Donate today to help defend and grow the Democratic majority so we can continue making progress.

Their plan includes

  • abolishing the Department of Education;
  • raising taxes on low-income Americans;
  • restricting reproductive freedoms;
  • discriminatory LGBTQ+ policies;
  • and denying the reality of systemic racism.
And extremely concerning is their attack on our fundamental right—the right to vote.

Their plan restricts vote by mail and automatic voter registration, both of which work very well in Oregon and have for decades. It would end same-day registration and enact racist voter ID laws. The plan doubles down on the Big Lie - that there was fraud in the 2020 election. But in reality, it was the most secure election in U.S. history.

Enough is enough.

If Republicans win the majority, their extreme plan could become reality. It's critical that Democrats keep and expand our majority. Donate now to protect democracy!

We must keep fighting against these dangerous and discriminatory policies, which is what I do every day in Congress.

Thank you for standing with me ... and against the harmful Republican agenda.
