Suzanne Bonamici: This work can’t stop

Last week, I met with U.S. Labor Secretary Marty Walsh during his visit to Portland and Scappoose to discuss President Biden's Good Jobs Initiative. We talked at length about what this means for Oregonians: clean energy jobs that pay a living wage.

In Congress, I'm working on urgently needed, science-based policies to address the climate crisis. At the same time, I am fighting for an economy that works for everyone. Clean energy jobs are an important part of that.

Importantly, there's something we must do to get the policy results we need to protect public health and our planet. Democrats must expand our majority this November. The stakes are high for working families, the climate, and our children's future. We need all the grassroots support we can get so we can continue progress on issues that matter to Oregonians.

I am building momentum across the redrawn First District, and I'm counting on grassroots donors like you to support me.

Our goal is 600 grassroots donations this quarter in any amount before March 31. I'm pleased to say that we only need 13 more donations to meet our goal!

Will you consider chipping in to help us reach our goal?
