WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Peter Meijer (R-MI) today announced he has joined the Conservative Climate Caucus, a group of more than 50 Republicans dedicated to implementing environmental policies that benefit the American environment and economy. The Caucus was officially launched today.

“Climate change should not be a partisan issue. The environment surrounds all of us, and we have a vested interest in protecting, maintaining, and growing it for future generations,” said Rep. Meijer. “We can prioritize our environment without sacrificing our economy, and I believe Republicans are best equipped to lead the charge. I am proud to join the Conservative Climate Caucus, a group of lawmakers dedicated to implementing legislation that boosts both without sacrificing one for the other.”
