ROLL CALL – MINOR CORRECTION FOR ROLL CALL, I POINTED TO THE POPULIST AGENDA EMBRACED BY THE REPUBLICANS LIKE HAWLEY, NOT SUGGESTING THAT WE DEMOCRATS SHOULD BE.
Folks, America is in the ICU. Anarchy visited us on January 6th. This wasn’t exclusively caused by Republicans. This was an indication that we have an even bigger problem with how the political game is played.
If you are of the opinion that the Democratic establishment is our primary ticket to flip Missouri, I’m not the right candidate for you.
However, if like myself,
- You’re sick and tired of the establishment’s abandonment of our interest.
- You’re frustrated by double-digit losses due to their negligence of former strongholds for our party.
- If it drives you nuts that the establishment takes pride in telling progressives we are what’s wrong with the party in our state.
- If you have a bad taste in your mouth from being excluded from meetings and told to be quiet when we dare to hold leadership accountable to the values of Trust, Authenticity, Accountability, and Leadership,
I believe in truth, transparency, integrity, democracy, humility, and empathy. When we love our neighbors and refuse to play a dirty game for the sake of winning power, we can change the game. Indeed, we can change the world. Missouri has what it takes to transform our country into the shining city on a hill, a beacon of democracy and hope for all! The establishment doesn’t believe it’s possible. So let’s show them.
