I’m Timothy Shepard.
I grew up in Kearney and Excelsior Springs just north of Kansas City. I am an entrepreneur, husband, father, and activist running for the Democratic nomination to represent Missouri in the United States Senate. Whether it was seeing my church help my family when my mother was denied health insurance due to a preexisting condition, watching my family organize volunteers to help those who didn’t know where their next meal was coming from or shopping at our local, small-town food pantry for our own family, Missouri and its people have shown me what it means to take care of one another. I understand the unique struggles faced in both rural and urban areas because I’ve lived them. My platform outlines what I’ll do as your Senator by putting Missourians and their needs FIRST.
