First-quarter fundraising reports have been posted in the race for Washington’s 8th Congressional District, and King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn once again raised more from donors than his nearest two competitors combined.

This significant fundraising report catapults Dunn into the lead in cash-on-hand among his Republican primary opponents, and continues to cement his front-runner status. Dunn accomplished this in only four months, a substantially shorter period than most of his primary opponents.

“I’m so grateful to the thousands of voters who, despite the serious inflationary hardships our country is facing, stepped up and supported my campaign financially,” said Dunn. “I continue to be honored by the overwhelming support this campaign has received from all across the 8th Congressional District. Our impressive fundraising results demonstrate that Washingtonians on both sides of the Cascades are ready for new leadership in Congress.”

Dunn leads incumbent Congresswoman Kim Schrier by 4 points in the latest polling, and leads his Republican opponents in the primary by a more than 2-1 margin.
